Police Log: Drunk Driving Arrest Near Ryan School

A 50-year-old Tewksbury woman is facing drunk driving and child endangerment charges after being arrested this week near the Ryan School on Pleasant Street.
Patricia Ostertag was arrested on Thursday, May 29, around 5:30 p.m.
A caller on Pleasant Street reported a driver who was crossing over the yellow lines and the fog lines. On officer responded to the area and pulled the vehicle over near the school. After a brief investigation, Ostertag was arrested and charged with OUI-liquor, child endangerment while OUI, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.

Suspicious activity leads to drug arrests

On Thursday, May 29, at 6:16 p.m., an officer called in to dispatch to report he was out at the Tewksbury Convenient Mart, 470 Foster Road, with a suspicious person.
Following an investigation, two women were placed under arrest on drug charges.
Ashleigh Marie Walsh, 25, 130 Eastgate Road, Tewksbury, was charged with Distribution of a Class E Drug, Possession of a Class E Drug with Intent to Distribute and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.
Carlie J. Parent was charged with Possession of a Class E Drug and Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws.

Friday, May 30, 2:13 a.m. -- An Ellington Road resident called police to report a loud party next door. An officer responded and the party dispersed.
Thursday, May 29, 5:03 p.m. -- A caller on Sharon Street reports his snow tire was stolen from his back yard some time during the day. A report was filed.
Thursday, May 29, 5:44 p.m. -- A Lake Street resident called to report that she had asked her boyfriend to leave her home several times and he refused to do so. Officers responded to the scene and spoke to both parties. The man agreed to leave the residence for the night. The woman was advised of her 209A rights.
Thursday, May 29, 8:03 p.m. -- A caller from Bolduc Transportation, 9 Pond St., called to report an ATV in the pond. An officer responded to the scene but the ATV was gone on arrival.
