Stolen Car, Found Wedding Ring And Softball Dad Behaving Badly

Jesus Manuel Rodriguez, 27, 340 South Broadway St., Lawrence, was arrested on Tuesday, June 24 at WalMart. He was charged with larceny over $250.

Wednesday, June 25, 2:57 a.m. -- A woman called 911 and said she was being followed by a car. She was able to provide the license plate of the vehicle. She drove to Police Headquarters and spoke to a sergeant. Two units stopped the vehicle in question. A citation was issued and a report was filed.
Tuesday, June 24, 4:50 p.m. -- A woman walked into Police Headquarters and asked to speak to an officer regarding the fact that she was being harassed by the father of one of the girls she coaches on a softball team. An officer spoke with the woman and a report was filed.
Tuesday, June 24, 8:36 p.m. -- A man walked into Police Headquarters and reported that he found a silver wedding ring at the Alumni Softball Field on Livingston Street. The ring was placed in an envelope and left at the Dispatch Desk.
Tuesday, June 24, 11:03 p.m. -- A 911 caller from the Motel Caswell reported that his car had been stolen. The man said he had left the car running and came out and someone had taken it. Three units responded to the scene. A BOLO was put out for the vehicle and it was entered into the NCIC stolen car data base.
