Market Basket Employees Double-Down On Demands

Jul 21, 2014 02:45PM, Published by Bill Gilman, Categories: Business, Today

Many shelves at Market Basket supermarkets are bare, since workers walked out over the firing of CEO Arthur T. DeMoulas.

The firing of seven leaders of DeMoulas' employee rebellion failed to end the walkout over the firing of Arthur T. DeMoulas as CEO. Rather, employees staged a second massive protest, this time in the parking lot of Stadium Plaza. Now that several state legislators have forged an alliance with the workers alliance, this battle for the DeMoulas' Empire is far from over.
Social media has been on fire over the Market Basket protest story. Scroll down to see what employees, customers and the news media are saying!!
