Police Log: Cracker Barrel Parking Lot The Scene Of Drug Bust

A pair of New Hampshire men face drug charges after being nabbed outside a popular local eatery.
Ilyass Nabih, 27, abd Remi Barrera, 26, both of Nashua, were arrested on Thursday, Aug. 7, and were charged with possession of a Class A substance. Class A can include Heroin, GHB (and other “designer drugs,”) Morphine and Ketamine.
The two were arrested on after a Tewksbury police officer reported a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store at 5:42 p.m. Two other officers and the K-9 unit also responded to the scene.
Barrera also had an outstanding warrant for possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute. Class D drugs include Marijuana and Phenobarbital.

On Thursday, Aug. 7, at around 10:15 p.m., a female resident of Vale Street called police and reported she saw a man yelling obscenities while walking through her yard. Officers responded to the scene and were able to track down the man. It turned out that he was getting frustrated while searching for his dog.

Additional Arrests:
Vito Lomagno, 59, 1221 Ames Hill Drive, Tewksbury, was arrested on Aug. 7 and charged with domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with injury on a person 60-over or disabled.

  • Thursday, Aug. 7, 10 a.m. -- Police responded to a report to threats being made outside the Demoulas headquarters, 875 East St.  Five units arrived at the scene and spoke to all the parties involved. A report was filed.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1:26 a.m. -- A woman came into Police Headquarters and wanted top speak to an officer about hr personal electronics possibly being hacked. She also wanted to talk about ongoing issues with her ex-boyfriend.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 6, 5:42 a.m. -- A resident reported finding a man sleeping in the floor inside the door of the building at 800 Ames Hill Drive. The person said the man was conscious and responding but then went back to sleep. Officers responded to the scene, spoke to the man and told him he needed to leave the area.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 5, 6:17 p.m. -- A 911 call reported an accident between a car and a motorcycle at Crystal News, 1120 Main St. Emergency crews responded to the scene and the driver of the motorcycle was taken to Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus with non-life threatening injuries. A citation was issued to the driver of the car.
