Friends Of The Elderly To Host Benefit Breakfast At Senior Center

Rep Jim Miceli will hold office hours on August 26th from 9:30AM to 11:30AM at the Senior Center.
The next Men’s Group meeting will be held on Thursday, August 28th at 9:00 AM. All men 60+ are welcome.
The next Casino trip will be September 4th to Foxwood’s. Tickets are on sale now. The cost of this trip is $30 per person and includes motor coach transportation, a casino package and the driver gratuity.
The next foot care clinic will be held on Thursday September 18th. Call the office 978-640-4482 and speak to Jan to book an appointment for the day.
The Friends of the Elderly will hold a Breakfast Benefit at the Senior Center, 175 Chandler Street, on Sunday, September 7th. The menu will include: pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries, beans, toast and beverages. Items from the Senior's yummy bake sale table will also be available for purchase. Tickets are available at the door at the following price: $7 for Adults; $3 for Children under 12; and, Toddlers are free.
The Silverstones will hold its next monthly dance at the Senior Center on Friday, September 19th beginning at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available at the door at $10 per person. Why not come on down and listen to the great big band sounds of our in-house band.
The Friends will hold a YARD SALE at the Senior Center on Saturday, September 27th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Table space is available to the general public at $15 per table or two tables for $25. There will be 30 tables of treasures, a bake table, and luncheon specials featuring Chef Nick's corn chowder. The Yard Sale is held rain or shine. The public is welcome and admission is free. Mark your calendars for this big event.
The public is reminded that the Senior Center’s Upscale Consignment Boutique and the Snooti Patooti Gift Shop have some great deals! Please note: the Snooti Patooti Hours change in the summer, Mon-Thurs 11am-1pm and Fri 9-11am. The Upscale Consignment Boutique’s hours remain the same. All proceeds from the shops support the programs and activities at the Senior Center.
The Senior Center was accepted into this year’s Applefest Craft fair, taking place at the Tewksbury Memorial High School on Saturday October 25th, from 9am-3pm. We are looking for volunteers to craft for this event. The Senior Center will cover the cost of supplies and then all proceeds will be returned to the center.
