Tedeschi's Robbed At Knifepoint, Police Seek Public's Help To ID Suspect

This man is believed to have robbed the Tedeschi's Food Store, early Saturday morning.

Tewksbury Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man believed to have robbed a South Tewksbury convenience store at knifepoint early Saturday morning.

According to a press release, officers responded at 3:20 a.m. to the Tedeschi Food Shop, 2280 Main Street, for an armed robbery.  

The store clerk described the assailant as being a white male, in his 40’s, with a white scruff (beard), approximately 5’7”, 170 lbs. The clerk told officers the man held a large knife to him and demanded money.  The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store.  After the robbery, an older model white sedan was seen fleeing the area, according to the press release.
