Soon, you might be able to add floor hockey to the list.
On Saturday, the Boston Bruins Foundation is partnering with Liam Nation to sponsor a free Floor Hockey Skills Clinic for special ability athletes. The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at Tewksbury High School.
But this will be more than just a sports clinic. Former World Champion Mickey Ward will be on hand, as will comedian Johnny Pizzi and Charlie Moore, aka "The Mad Fisherman."
The entire event will be filmed by Dirty Water TV with Dave Russo for an upcoming episode on NESN.
Hockey equipment for the clinic will be provided by the Bruins Foundation.
"The Boston Bruins Foundation has been wonderful," said Erin Knyff, founder of Liam Nation. "We went down and talked to (foundation Executive Director) Bob Sweeney and he was great."
Sweeney will be on hand for the clinic, though it's unknown who else will be representing the Bruins at the event.
Though the clinic itself is only for special ability athletes, the event is free and open to the public.
Pre-registration is needed to participate in the clinic. If you are the parent or guardian of a special ability athlete and wish to register them for the clinic, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
