Tewksbury Police Department.

A 37-year-old Lowell man was held without bail Monday after being arraigned on his third drunk driving offense.
Police allege Jason Hanson, of 69 Burnham Road, was intoxicated when he drove his Dodge Ram pickup truck through a fence and a stonewall before crashing into the porch of the home at 9 Merrimack Meadows Lane, just before 9 a.m. Saturday.
The accident was called in by the homeowner.
According to a police report, Hanson's truck sustained significant damage, but he was able to start the vehicle and drive a short distance before officers arrived on scene. According to the report, Hanson ignored an officer's instructions and exited his vehicle before he was arrested at gunpoint.
Hanson was charged with OUI-liquor (3rd offense) and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. His previous OUI convictions were from 1997 and 1991.
According to court records, a judge set bail at $2,500 for the new charges. However, Hanson was out on bail on a separate assault and battery charge. That bail was revoked and he was jailed pending his next court date.
