PHOTOS: 6th Annual Zero Waste Day A Huge Success

Electronic devices are donated during last weekend's 6th Annual Zero Waste Day in Tewksbury.

According to organizers, Tewksbury's 6th Annual Zero Waste Day was a huge success, with 596 donors/recyclers participating.

The event, sponsored by the Tewksbury Congregational Church and the Tewksbury Recycling Committee, was held in the parking lot of the Wynn School.

Some of the statistics from the event include: 

  • 93 bikes collected for Bikes Not Bombs
  • 173 tires (nearly 1 ton)
  • 3600 books, cds, dvds, video games
