Albert T. Page of Tewksbury, MA, passed away at home, with his family present, on October 2, 2014, at the age of 92. "Al" was the husband of the late Gertrude “Trudy” (Perras) Page, who predeceased him by three years, almost to the day. Al is the father of Marc Page, husband of Sandra, of Petersham, MA, Gregory Page, husband of Debra, of Chelmsford, MA, Lynda Page, of Tewksbury, MA, and Andrea Page, partner of Bruce Bilapka, of Pelham, NH; also the grandfather of Victoria Baribeau, wife of Joshua, of Sudbury, MA and Derek Page, husband of Amy, of Merrimack, NH.
Al was born in Revere, MA on March 18, 1922 and raised in Roxbury. He is the son of the late John Page and Florence (Kunz) Page and the brother of the late John Page of California, the late Dorothy Rooney of Dorchester, MA and the late Florence Nordley of Lexington, MA. Al served honorably in the Army during WWII, 31st Division. He was stationed in the Pacific and was awarded numerous medals. He met his beloved wife Trudy at Fort Devens, after he was flown stateside for medical treatment. They married on September 18, 1948. Al and Trudy had a true partnership in life and enjoyed a long and loving marriage of 63 years.
Al retired as a letter carrier from the Tewksbury Post Office after 25 years. He previously worked at the Harvard College Printing Office and as a pressman for Houghton-Mufflin, among other printing companies. He was a member of St. Williams Parish in Tewksbury, where he ushered and was involved in service activities for many years. He loved golf, ballroom dancing, cards, wintering in Florida with his wife and enjoying the company of family and many friends. Al was social, he loved life, he was generous and was loved by so many.

His funeral will begin Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10:30 from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte 38) Tewksbury. Burial with Army honors will be Tewksbury Cemetery.
