Tewksbury Man Sentenced To 12-15 Years For Rape Of A Child

A 29-year-old Tewksbury man was sentenced to 12-15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl.
Scott Brzezowski, 94 Pennacook Road, pleaded guilty to four counts of of rape of a child with force, four counts of aggravated rape of a child, four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, one count of providing obscene matter to a minor, lascivious posing/exhibiting a child in the nude and possession of child pornography.
The crimes took place in 2012.
Prosecutors told a Middlesex Superior Court Judge Kenneth Salinger that Brzezowski made the child view pornographic materials with him. After sexually assaulting the child, he threatened to cut off her finger to try to ensure her silence,
According to the police report, the mother of the victim became aware of at least one of the attacks and confronted Brzezowski. She did not, however, report the assault to the police at that time because Brzezowski promised it would never happen again.
In addition to the 12-15-year prison term, Brzezowski was sentenced to an additional 10 years probation and must register as a sex offender.
