Oct 28, 2014 03:44PM ● By Bill Gilman

(Editor's note: The following information was submitted by Kelly Wentworth.)

Hey parents, are you wondering what you will do with the 47 Hershey Bars, 61 Twix Bars and 36 bags of Skittles that your kids will collect on Halloween?  We have the answer!

Bring your excess candy to school on Monday, Nov. 3 from 3:00-5:00pm and help make the holidays a little sweeter for our veterans!

Can’t make it to the drop-off event?  A donation bin will also be set up in Town Hall from Nov. 1-7.

All donated candy will be delivered to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans in Boston, a homeless and transitional shelter for our veterans (www.nechv.org).

Any candy is accepted.

If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Wentworth at kellys3girls04@yahoo.com or 617-304-4431.
