As far as the Tewksbury High teams are concerned, seedings don't mean anything at all.
The Redmen field hockey and volleyball teams, each seeded last in their respective tournaments, are a combined 3-0 thus far in the post-season.

Field Hockey
The No. 13 Redmen (10-10) pulled off their second straight overtime upset, knocking off Triton, 1-0, to advance to the Division 2 North Semifinals.
And for the second straight game, Emily Donohue played the role of hero, scoring the game-winning goal in OT. Keeper Cora Gagnon recorded six saves to shut down No. 5 Trioton (13-5-2).
The task gets even taller for Tewksbury. The Redmen now move on to face No. 1 seed Watertown (19-0-0) in the semifinals at Reading High. The date and time have yet to be announced.

Tewksbury High entered the Division 2 North Sectional Tournament as the No. 18 seed. The Redmen (11-10) went out and promptly knocked off No. 15 North Reading (10-9), 3-1, in the opening round.
The Redmen are slated to play at No. 2 Arlington Catholic (17-3) in the second round Saturday at 6 p.m.
