Local Businesses Honor Veterans With 'Thank You' Gifts On Veterans Day

Several local businesses are offering free items and services for veterans today as a way of thanking them for their service to the country.

MERRIMACK VALLEY PAVILLION  -- MVP wants to say a big THANK YOU to all who have served! Veterans and active military play FREE on Veterans Day! We will also be offering a Veterans Day Special: Enjoy $7 games of laser tag (that's over a 20% discount) all day! 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Homes For Our Troops. This is a fantastic organization, and we hope you'll all come out to support it!

APPLEBEES -- Applebees is offering free meals off a special menu to veterans throughout the day.

HONEYDEW DONUTS -- Honey Dew Donuts, Route 38 in Wilmington, has free coffee for veterans on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE -- Longhorn is giving veterans a free Texas Tonion all day.

ORANGE LEAF -- All veterans and active-duty military personnel can get a free cup of froyo at any Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt location on Tuesday, November 11, for Veterans Day.

CRACKER BARREL OLD COUNTRY STORE -- On Tuesday, veterans get a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert. If you're not a vet and you buy the dessert or other retail items, 10 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the USO.

Chili's -- While not located in Tewksbury, Chili's is offering a free meal for veterans today.
