A  Billerica teen is being treated at an area hospital after being seriously injured in a log splitter accident Saturday afternoon.
The 17-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, sustained a "traumatic hand injury" in the accident, according to a source with knowledge of the accident. The accident took place just after 12:30 p.m. at APC Truck Service, 53 Highland Ave.
