Selectmen To Hold Public Hearing On New Cable Contract Tonight

Nov 18, 2014 12:10PM ● Published by Bill Gilman

The Board of Selectmen is scheduled to meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Temporary Town Hall on Main Street.

At the top of the agenda is a public hearing on the new contract being negotiated with Comcast for their Cable Television License renewal.

If you would like to see expanded public access options, including a fully functioning public access studio, more local channels and discounts for senior citizens, this is a public hearing you will want to attend.

Also on the agenda is an introductory meeting with state Sen. elect Barbara L’Italien of Andover, as well as a discussion of the goals and objectives of department heads as the FY 2016 budget season gets started.
