New Details Released In Enterprise Bank Robbery

Tewksbury Police have released additional information regarding the armed robbery, Thurdsday afternoon, at the Enterprise Bank, at 910 Andover St.

Police Chief Timothy Sheehan released the following statement on the case:

On November 20th, 2014, at approximately 5 PM the Tewksbury Police Department responded to the Enterprise Bank, located at 910 Andover Street, for an armed robbery. 
When Officers arrived on scene, bank employees stated that they had been robbed by a male who entered the bank wearing all dark clothing, a dark ski mask, and sunglasses. The male approached two tellers and demanded money while brandishing what has been described as a dark colored handgun.
The suspect, who is described as being at least 6’ tall, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction of travel. Tewksbury Police Officers, K-9 Units, and the State Police Air Wing searched the area but where unsuccessful in locating the suspect. An investigation is ongoing.
