WILMINGTON: Joshua D. Black, 26, A lifelong resident of Wilmington, died in a tragic accident on Friday, November 28, 2014 in Peabody. He was the cherished son of William B. and Therese M. (Crispo) Black also of Wilmington.

Joshua was born on December 31, 1987 in Lowell. He was a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. He recently was employed by Wayne's Drains of Burlington. He was eager and excited about his new position as a "Wayne's Drains Man." Joshua was a hard worker and proud of the new tasks he was learning at his job. His job entailed working on residential accounts as well as many well known commercial buildings in Boston, such as the Prudential Building and Harvard University.

He was adventurous and loved to take long drives in his truck and had even drove as far as Texas one time. Snowboarding was a hobby he loved as well as camping. Through the years Joshua enjoyed many camping trips with his parents and his aunts and uncles. He was a caring and loving young man and throughout the years was the type of person who would always defend and protect those who were considered the "underdog". Joshua's parents, family and friends will always cherish and hold close to their hearts all the special memories they have of him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving aunt, Georgette Frisch and her husband, Lester; uncles, David, Joe, and George and his cousins, his best friends, Matt and Amanda and especially Cameron.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the St. Williams Church,1351 Main St., (Rte. 38) in Tewksbury at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950 from 4 - 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be privately held in the Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington on Friday.
