Police Log: Suspicious Vehicle Leads To Drug Bust, Christmas Car Crash

Two New Hampshire residents are facing drug charges after being spotted acting suspiciously by an alert Tewksbury Police officer.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Wendy's Restaurant, 1665 Andover St. The officer spotted a man and a woman acting suspiciously in a parked car with New Hampshire plates. The parking lots of businesses in North Tewksbury near Route 495 have been favorite locations for drug transactions and have received special attention by Tewksbury Police.
Two additional officers responded to the scene and following an investigation and search, both the man and woman were taking into custody.
Christopher Cady, 28, 855 Brookline Road, Mason, NH, was charged with possession of a Class A substance. Billee D. Cox, 26, 15 Baker Ave., Apt. 5, Greenville, NH, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was also charged with possession of a Class A substance and two counts of possession of a Class E substance.
  • Stephen Gerrior, 38, 1124 Ames Hill Drive, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 26, on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.

  • Thursday, Dec. 25, 1:08 a.m. --  Police received multiple 911 calls after a car crashed into a utility pole on Pike Street near Fox Run Drive. A full emergency response was sent to the scene. The driver of the vehicle was taken to Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus with non-life threatening injuries. National Grid was notified regarding damage to the pole.
  • Thursday, Dec. 25, 1:03 p.m. -- A man walked into Police Headquarters to report that his brother had stolen money from out of his bank account. An officer spoke with the man and a report was filed.
  • Thursday, Dec. 25, 7:23 p.m. -- Dispatch received a call regarding a hit and run accident. the caller told police his car had been parked in front of 125 Jennie's way and had been struck by another car. He said the driver didn't leave a not and that the damage to his car was extensive. A report was filed.
