Obituary: Irene Bioren, 95

TEWKSBURY - Irene Bioren, age 95, a resident of Chelmsford Crossing since 1997, died peacefully on Sunday morning at Wingate of Belvidere. She was the beloved wife of Russell J. Bioren, who died in 1991.
She was born in Cambridge, February 3, 1919, a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Carroll) Sweet, and raised in Cambridge. She lived in Cambridge until moving her family to Tewksbury in 1956.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Church in Tewksbury, and was remembered as having devoted her life to her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Eileen M. Fluet and her husband Paul of Laconia, NH, and Ruth J. Cleary and her husband John of Dracut, Karen A. Bioren of Fitchburg; a daughter-in-law Gloria Bioren of Exeter, NH, who was wife of the late Daniel Jude Bioren; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; and was also sister of the late Rita M. Ringer and Theresa Dumencic.
Visiting hours Friday, January 2, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950.
