Tractor Trailer Driver Arrested For Drunk Driving In Tewskbury

A 24-year-old tractor trailer driver from Mississippi has been arrested and charged with drunk driving in Tewksbury.
Massachusetts State Police issued the following press release on the arrest Tuesday evening.
"Today (Jan. 6) at about 9:00 a.m., State Police from the Concord barracks received reports of a highly erratic tractor-trailer traveling on Route 495 North in Tewksbury.
"The vehicle was initially spotted by a Mass Department of Transportation – Highway Assistance Patrol vehicle, who related additional information about the location and dangerous operation of the vehicle to responding troopers.
"The tractor-trailer was eventually stopped by Trooper Brian McAnally of the State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section and Trooper Daniel Purtell of the State Police K-9 Unit. Shortly thereafter, Trooper David Cahill conducted an investigation into the condition of the operator and subsequently arrested 24-year-old RICK LASKA of Biloxi, Mississippi on charges including Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Failure to Stay Within Marked Lanes.
"He was transported to the State Police barracks in Concord and held pending bail/arraignment in Lowell District Court."
