Tewksbury Man Arrested For Credit Car Fraud in New Hampshire

A Tewksbury man will be arraigned Jan. 28 in New Hampshire for allegedly engaging in credit card fraud last month.

Steven Dunac, 27, of Merrimack Meadow Lane, was arrested along with 27-year-old Maurice Omar of Elmont, NY, for allegedly making fraudulent purchases at the Merrimack Premium Outlet Mall. .

According to an article published in the Merrimack, NH Patch, the men were arrested Dec. 11 after police were called to the mall for a report of two men buying items using credit cards that had been reported stolen.

The men were interviewed by police and then taken into custody. Police then obtained a search warrant for the car the men were driving and found more than 100 more fraudulent credit cards.

According to the article, additional charges are possible.
