Tewksbury Man Charged With Trafficking Heroin

The Tewksbury Police Department's latest strike in the battle against heroin trafficking hit close to home.

Three people, including two Tewksbury men, were arrested on Sunday, Feb. 8, following a narcotics investigation coordinated by TPD detectives.

  • Jason Sullivan, 24, of 22 Ruskin Road in Tewksbury was arrested for two counts of Distribution of a Class A Substance (heroin) and two counts of Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act.
  • Lisa Gioioso, 27, of 1 Innis Drive in Billerica was arrested for Possession of a Class A Substance (heroin) and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act.
  • James Berry, 31, of 12 Highland View Road in Tewksbury was also arrested for Possession of a Class A Substance (heroin) and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act.  

No details were provided about circumstances regarding the arrests or the investigation but all three suspects are due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court today (Feb. 10).
