The Tewksbury Redmen 6th Grade team capped off a great season in the Middle School Hockey League by winning the Championship with a 7-3 win over Triton.

The Redmen 6th graders earned a 1st round bye in the playoffs after winning the regular season title with a record of 7 wins and 2 losses.   The locals scored 59 goals and only allowed 32 goals.

The Redmen skated against the Peabody Tanners in the Semi-finals and skated to a 7-0 win. The win moved the Redmen into the championship game on Tuesday March 3rd against the Triton Vikings, one of only 2 teams to beat the Redmen during the regular season.

The Championship game was a fast-paced, high-energy, physical battle between two talented teams.  With the score 3-2 after two periods, the Redmen exploded for 4 goals in the final period and skated off with a 7-3 win, hoisting the “Stanley Cup” trophy over their heads in front of their proud parents, brothers, sisters, and grandparents.
