Letter: If Elected, Ferdinand Promises To Give A Portion Of Stipend To Food Pantry

To the Editor:

Our candidate for Tewksbury Planning Board, George Ferdinand, on behalf of his religious
tradition, pledges to donate 10% of his monthly compensation, if elected next month, to the
Merrimack Valley Food Bank, which provides to the Tewksbury Food Bank. 
George believes in not just by talk but by actions, that leaders lead.

(Editor's note: The annual stipend for members of the Tewksbury Planning Board is $4,140 per year. This works out to roughly $300 per month.)
