LETTER: David Gay is "Open-Minded" and "Approachable"

Mar 22, 2015 11:41AM ● By Kieran Gilman

Dear Neighbors:

It is with great pride and enthusiasum I support and endorse David Gay as our Selectman.

David is a member of the Public Events Committee, working on the tree lighting and fall festival in town. He is the Tewksbury  representative to the Lowell Regional Transit Authority, monitoring ridership on our bus system, sits on the Town Personnel Review Board, and has previously served on the Community Preservation Committee and the Town Hall Renovation Committee, to name a few.

David was instrumental in hiring our town manager and continues close monitoring of the budget and decisions that affect the voters and taxpayers of Tewksbury.

David and I have “spirited debates” on county, state and federal elections.  Although we support different candidates, he will pick up a win for state senator and I will get a strong governor.  For a democrat and union boss, David is extra conservative and responsible for our tax money.  He is pro-business. If it isn’t in the checkbook, he simply won’t spend it.

David will await the return of Brian Williams, the war hero, and I will get no spin from Bill O’Reilly. That said, David is open minded and approachable and I encourage any resident with an issue or concern to contact him.

Please join me in casting a vote for David Gay, our selectman, on April 11, 2015.
