New Reference Librarian at Tewksbury Public Library

The Tewksbury Public Library is pleased to welcome Corinn Flaherty as the new Reference Librarian to join their staff.

Corinn has a Master’s Degree in Library Science from St. Johns in Queens, New York and prior to joining the Tewksbury Library, spent two years with the Boxford Library in their Circulation Department.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textiles from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, she managed the textile studio at Gateway Arts in Brookline, working with adults with developmental and psychiatric disabilities. Corinn also completed an extended internship with the Osborne Library at the Textile History Museum in Lowell.

Ms. Flaherty stated, "I'm excited about this unique opportunity of working with a larger community with more diverse research needs. I’m looking forward to meeting patrons and members of the community and helping out wherever I can.”

Diane Giarrusso, Director of the Tewksbury Public Library, commented that "the Library is thrilled to have Corinn as part of the team providing valuable resources to the community. And I invite the public to stop by and introduce themselves to her."
