A high ranking indicates that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experience very highly."

Ranking No. 1 in Massachusetts was Dover-Sherborn Regional, which received an “A+” rating from Niche for its academics, teachers, and extracurricular activities.
No. 2 was Westwood High School, followed by Lexington High School, Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School in Marlboro, and Brookline High School.
