Friday Night Film: Unbroken

Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood's newest DVD releases -- Unbroken, a drama honored with 3 Academy Award nominations.  After a near-fatal plane crash in WWII, Olympian Louis Zamperini spends a harrowing 47 days in a raft with two fellow crewmen before he's caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. The film is rated PG for thematic elements, fantasy action and peril, and some suggestive material. Complimentary snacks and beverages provided. Limited to 75 seats.  Register HERE.

Saturday Night Film: Into The Woods

Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood's newest DVD releases -- Into The Woods, a Disney adventure staring Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick and Chris Pine.  A witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree.  The film is rated PG for thematic elements, fantasy action and peril, and some suggestive material.  Complimentary snacks and beverages provided.  Limited to 75 seats.  Register HERE.

Afternoon of Tewksbury History

Tewksbury Historical Society agent Brendan Kieran will present "Remembering Tew-Mac."  His presentation will discuss the airport and include some fantastic images.

Tewksbury Historical Society agent Christina Rohrbacher will present "Remembering Anne Sullivan."  Her presentation will discuss Sullivan's life and her time in Tewksbury.

The Tewksbury Historical Society will also hold its Annual New Members Meeting.  New members are always welcome!

Shop At The Library's Book Shop
Sat., Mar. 28, 10am-1pm

The Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library's 'Friendly Little Book Shop' is open every Wednesday evening (4:30-7pm) and Saturday morning (10am-1pm).  Shop for great bargains with a wide selection of hardcovers ($1.25), trade paperbacks ($1.00), mass market paperbacks ($0.50), and CDs & DVDs ($2.00-$5.00).  All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library.

Pick Up Your Tax Forms Here  

very limited supply of tax forms are available this year UPSTAIRS next to the Reference Desk.

State Tax Forms: The library is now out of state tax forms.  Forms may be accessed online HERE or printed at the library for 10 cents per page.
Federal Tax Forms: The IRS is providing only the following forms this year: Form 1040, Form 1040A and Form 1040EZ.  NO INSTRUCTIONAL BOOKLETS WILL BE PROVIDED because "IRS appropriations were significantly cut in the 2015 Omnibus Appropriations bill recently passed by Congress."  Forms may be ordered online HERE or by calling 1-800-820-3676.  Forms may be accessed online HERE or printed at the library for 10 cents per page.
