Tewksbury based Cheerleading Team Featured In Documentary

East Coast Elite is being featured in a documentary.

Nfinity Champions League 2 will premier in movie theaters across the United States April 2.. There will be a second showing on Saturday, April 4 in select cinemas. The movie is a documentary and follows the 30 most decorated cheerleading teams from across the United States as they compete head to head in an ultimate showdown.

The movie is being shown at Showcase Cinema in Lowell at 12:55 p.m.

East Celebrity Elite's C5 team located out of Tewksbury is one of the featured teams. The team is comprised of 30 local teens from NH, MA, ME, CT and RI. Among the team's coaches is Steve Belanger of Tewksbury.

These kids train year round and compete regularly in competitions across America. They were selected as one of the top 30 teams in the nation & invited to compete at the Champions League which is then made into a movie & aired 2 weeks following the live event.

East Celebrity Elite traveled to Los Angeles, CA to compete in this event on March 21st of this year. The team has had great success in the 2015 season. They will attend the movie premier tonight at the Lowell Cinemas where they will have a red carpet arrival.

East Celebrity Elite has locations in Londonderry NH, Tewksbury MA, Montvale CT, East Windsor CT, and Lancaster MA. Four teams from the gym will also compete at the prestigious Cheerleading Worlds held in Orlando, FL later this month.

East Celebrity Elite is an all-star cheerleading gym with approximately 40 teams in 5 locations. The gym trains students beginning at age 5 through college age. East Celebrity Elite offers teams for all ages and ability levels.
