Lowell General Hospital’s CatWalk for CancerCare Fashion Show raised $29,700 to benefit the hospital’s TeamWalk for CancerCare program. The sellout event was held at Lenzi’s in Dracut on Friday, March 27. Over 400 people enjoyed a fashion show sponsored by Ann Taylor, J.Jill, Black Box, MAC Cosmetics of the Pheasant Lane Mall and Exhale Hair Studio.
This year’s TeamWalk for CancerCare will be held on Sunday, May 31 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA. Funds from this event enable Lowell General Hospital to provide assistance, support and services to help people feel better, build confidence and instill hope throughout their battle with cancer. Funds are used to assist in paying for medications, nutritional supplements, wigs and prostheses, support groups, skilled nursing visits, transportation, mini-grants and supportive services for patients of all cancer types.
