Tewksbury Police Nab Lawrence Trio On Multiple Drug Charges

Two Lawrence men and a 17-year-old boy are facing multiple drug charges after a search of their vehicle turned up a veritable pharmacy of hardcore drugs.

Giomar Ortega, 21, of 77 Wesley St, Lawrence, Nathanael Tirado-Rodriguez, 25, of 262 E. Haverhill Street, 2nd Floor, Lawrence and the juvenile were nabbed Wednesday night after Tewksbury Police Detectives saw them acting suspiciously at the Motel 6. A short time later, officers pulled over their vehicle and a subsequent search, involving a K-9 unit, turned up cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.

Ortega and the juvenile were each charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute heroin.

Tirado-Rodriguez was charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, third or subsequent offense, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense and possession with the intent to distribute heroin, third or subsequent offense. 

All three were arraigned in Lowell District court on Thursday.
