Angels for Autism Raise Money for Autism with Go Fund Me Campaign

Apr 20, 2015 01:57PM ● By Paige Impink
A group of girls from Tewksbury; Lily Gigante, Anisha Lacerda, Kaitlin Karlberg, Christina Conti, and Whitney Gigante wanted to raise money for autism awareness on behalf of their friend Ashley Breen who is affected by autism. They have been working on this campaign for months and launched a Go Fund Me campaign website on April 1st in honor of Autism awareness month.  They surpassed their goal of $2,000 in less than two weeks!

What a wonderful accomplishment for these young girls!   One would think that they would stop after having reached their goal but they are determined to raise as much money and awareness as they can.  The girls decided to get a booth at Walmart this coming Friday 4/17/15 to try and raise even more money for their cause.  They are hoping that their campaign will not only raise awareness, but that the money they raise will help to find a cure for Autism one day.

They call themselves "The Angels for Autism" and their motto is "Where's Your Halo?"  If you would like to donate please go to
