Four Wynn students laying wreath At Arlington National Cemetery

On Sunday, four Wynn Middle School students had the unique opportunity to participate in one of the nation's most solemn ceremonies -- placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Ceremony.
The event took place as part of the Wynn's 8th Grade Trip to Washington D.C.
Lauren Eysallene, Delaney Jackson, Marina Nelson and Jenna Wentworth were chosen for the honor in an essay contest last month. Students were asked to write a short essay on what it would mean to them to participate in the ceremony.
Wynn School teacher Michael Gillespie organized this year's trip and also made arrangements for a delegation of Wynn students to participate in the wreath laying ceremony.
