Parent/Child Kayaking Classes Still Have Openings

The Town of Tewksbury, in partnership with Still River Outfitters, is pleased to announce its “Learn to Kayak” and “Learn to Stand Up Paddle Board” water sports classes for adults and children ages 9+ will be starting in May. Try out these fun recreational activities and enjoy Tewksbury’s Long Pond. Boats, paddles, flotation gear and lessons are all included in the price. Also check out the Adventure Kids three-day session, and get your kids skilled and safe in the hottest water sports today! All programs meet at Long Pond, at Whipple Road and Pleasant Street in Tewksbury.  Open to residents of all communities, this is a great activity for family, sports teams, Boy Scout or Girl Scout troops, Youth groups and more. Come explore the town’s wonderful natural resources and enjoy learning  kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.
