Police Log: Rollover Leads To OUI Arrest, Officers Assist Woman In Labor

A full emergency response reported to the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not seriously hurt in the crash but he didn't walk away scot-free.
Keith R. Parker, 34, 31 Ellington Road, Tewksbury, was arrested at the scene and charged with OUI-liquor (2nd offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Elba Marie Peralta, 24, 73 Market St., Apt. 107, Lowell, was arrested on May 10 on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.
Shane M. Harrington, 27, 16 Chapman St., Tewksbury, was arrested on May 9 and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The arrest came as the result of police of police responding to a fight in the parking lot outside the Sky Box Sports Bar, 553 Main St.
Jorge Sanchez, 56, 2 Sutherland, Apt. 2, Lowell, was arrested May 9 and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
Saturday, May 9, 1:04 p.m. -- A Rogers Street resident walked into Police Headquarters and reported someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked outside his home. The man said multiple items had been stolen from the vehicle. A report was filed.
Friday, May 8, 4:39 p.m. -- Andover Police reported a possible fight going on in a vehicle that started in their town and crossed into Tewksbury. A caller then reported a pregnant woman was in labor and having contractions in a car at Keri Plaza on Shawsheen Street. It turned out to be the same incident. The couple was trying to get her to the hospital. An ambulance arrived on the scene and took the woman to Lowell General Hospital.
Friday, May 8, 10:35 a.m. -- An Astle Street resident called to report a small black sedan had struck multiple mailboxes on the street. Two units responded to the scene. Two mailboxes had been struck on opposite sides of the street. The black sedan could not be located.
Friday, May 8, 11:11 a.m. -- A 911 caller reported a relative had received their learner's permit and he had taken them out to practice driving in the parking lot of the Assembly of God Church on Andover Street. The car then got stuck in a ditch. An officer responded to the scene and assisted the caller and the driver.
Thursday, May 7, 12:44 p.m. -- A caller from the Ellington Road neighborhood reported that a teen in the area had been attempting to break the street signs in the area.
Thursday, May 7, 2:18 p.m. -- A female East Street resident called dispatch to report a couple of teen girls had been driving by her home yelling things at her. The caller said the girls had been involved in an assault on her daughter. She described the vehicle as a silver mini van. Three units were sent to the scene and a report was filed.
