TMHS Students Council Plans Awards Luncheon, NHS Plans Used Prom Dress Drive

The following is the Tewksbury Memorial High School Student Report from the School Committee Meeting of May 13, 2015.

Student Council -- End of the year award luncheon is next Monday after school. Planning next year's calendar. Participated in the walk for hunger on June 3.
National Honor Society -- Induction of new members was last night. Next week we will be hosting a used prom dress drive for The Cinderella Project.
International Club -- On Saturday will be having a car wash at MVP to benefit Nepal.
Freshman Class Council -- Delivering long sleeve t-shirts that they ordered. Planning events for next year.
Best Buddies -- TMHS has been selected as one of two schools to be visited by Lauren Potter, an actress from the show Glee who has Downs syndrome. She will be here May 29th from 9-10
Chemistry Club -- MIT Students came in last week and did demonstrations with dry ice.
Junior Classical League -- Working with the Wynn to create a Junior Junior Classical League
Tolerance Core/Gay Straight Alliance -- just had elections and are looking forward to next year.
ECHO -- Planning their end of the year ice cream social.
AP U.S. History will be putting up their annual wall of remembrance for fallen soldiers around 2nd floor B pod.
