Police Log: Man Arrested On Child Porn Warrant, Crash Leads To OUI Arrest

A Tewksbury man is facing drunk driving chargers after allegedly causing a two-car cfrash Tuesday afternoon.
At 2:14 p.m., Dispatch received a 911 call for an erratic driver. The caller said the driver was operating a large black pickup truck.
A short time later, a second 911 call reported a two car crash on North Street near the intersection of East Street.  Three officers were sent to the scene. An ambulance and fire truck were also requested.
After an investigation, the driver of the pickup truck, Jason Tighe, 44, of 54 Colonial Drive, Apt. 2, was placed under arrest and charged OUI-liquor (2nd offense).

Additional arrests:
  • Robert J. Sostillo, 42, 970 Main St., Apt. 3, Tewksbury, was arrested on June 1 on an outstand warrant for possession of child pornography.
  • Alexandra Eleftheriou, 24, 17 Sawmill Ridge Road, Haverhill, was arrested June 2 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (3rd or subsequent offense).
Additional calls:
  • Thursday, June 4, 3:04 a.m. -- An officer reported being out with a female near 345 Main St. An ambulance was called to the scene, as the woman had cuts and bruises. The ambulance left the scene, however, as the woman declined treatment. A report was filed.
  • Tuesday, June 2, 4:40 p.m. -- An Arlington Street resident called police and reported that her ex-husband had left the home a year ago and that today, as she was cleaning, she found a gun in the bottom drawer of a dresser. An officer¬†responded and took custody of the gun. A report was filed.
  • Tuesday, June 2, 10:-1 a.m. -- A caller reported that a vehicle outside Wamesit Engineering, 89 Trull Road, had been broken into. An officer responded to the scene and a report was filed.
  • Tuesday, June 2, 6:24 a.m. -- A Whited Avenue resident called police and reported that multiple vehicles in her driveway had been broken into some time overnight. An officer responded to the scene and a report was filed.
