A Summer of 40 Author Visits Begins

Tewksbury Public Library

All events are FREE thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library.  (Film screenings are also co-sponsored by the Tewksbury Lions Club.)  All events are held in the library’s first-floor, air-conditioned Meeting Room.  A book selling and signing will take place after each author event.  There is no obligation to purchase a book.  

Registration is required for all events.  Register by calling 978-640-4490 x 205, emailing rhayes@mvlc.org, visiting the library’s online calendar of events at www.tewksburypl.org, or stopping by the library’s Front Desk.

An Evening with Alison Simcox & Doug Heath, Authors of “The History of Middlesex Fells”

Learn about the history of the Middlesex Fells, one of the country’s first state parks, just a short drive from Tewksbury.

Friday Night Film Screening of “McFarland, USA”

Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood’s latest DVD releases, “McFarland, USA,” a PG-rated drama starring Kevin Costner.  A struggling coach/teacher comes to one of the poorest cities in America and turns troubled high school boys into championship runners.  Complimentary movie snacks provided.
