Stop & Shop A Plus Rewards Program Earns Money for Dewing School

Jun 13, 2015 11:21AM ● By Paige Impink
The Loella F. Dewing School earned $1,400 this year from the Stop & Shop A Plus Program. Sponsored by the Chelmsford and Andover Stop & Shop Stores, the A Plus program rewards schools every time a registered card holder makes a purchase at Stop & Shop. Families sign up with Stop & Shop at the beginning of the school year, and each purchase counts as points toward dollars for the school. The money is given for use as the school sees fit. The Dewing Parent Advisory Committee oversees the program and is thrilled with the participation from teachers, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends who all shop at the grocery chain. Customers who have a Stop & Shop card just register their card and designate up to two schools of their choice to receive the benefits of their purchases. No gas rewards or other Stop & Shop incentives are impacted by this program so it is a win/win!
