The North Street PAC put on its Teacher Appreciation Luncheon this week. Teachers and staff of the North Street School were treated to homemade goodies, hearty dishes and refreshing frozen yogurt, courtesy of Orange Leaf Tewksbury. PAC volunteer Suzanne Caliendo organized the event, transforming the school library into a lush, garden-themed room. Potted plants dotted the shelves and trendy burlap runners decorated each table providing a relaxing oasis that several teachers remarked was something they looked forward to every year. Parents came together to help decorate, cook, serve and clean up.
Due to the overwhelming generosity of the North Street volunteers who made ham, noodles, cupcakes, curry and myriad salad and pasta dishes, the remaining food was donated to Lowell’s House of Hope where it was warmly received. The North Street PAC wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable summer.
