Johnny the K ( aka John Kelleher) engages the kids with one of his many hats. He taught the kids sign language in this number.

The Town of Tewksbury hosted its first Family Summer Concert this week featuring favorite performer Johnny the K.  Families brought blankets, chairs and picnics to Livingston Street Park. Children delighted in this full participation performance and attendees were thrilled as the weather cooperated. Johnny the K combines fun music with a peppy beat and a message that resonates with families-be kind, be inclusive, and live every day to its fullest. The performance was funded by a grant from the Tewksbury Cultural Council in conjunction with the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

The next family concert  at Livingston Street will be on Wednesday, July 15 at 10:00AM and feature Karen K and the Jitterbugs.  In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Tewksbury Senior Center, 175 Chandler Street.
