Can in the Hat Food Drive at North Street School

Jun 18, 2015 10:32AM ● Published by Paige Impink

Some crazy hats from Mrs. Gagnon’s fourth grade class

Students at the North Street Elementary School wore crazy hats to school and brought in canned goods for the Tewksbury Food Pantry as part of their “ Can in the Hat” day. Students and teachers got into the act. The Tewksbury schools take turns collecting food donations for the Food Pantry each month. Non-perishable items such as toothpaste, boxed pasta, peanut butter in plastic jars, squeeze jelly, canned tuna and microwaveable items are given to the Tewksbury Food Pantry for distribution to residents in need. Food items are accepted at many collection sites in town including the Public Library, Schlott Tire, and the Community Pantry at 999 Whipple Road. For more information, visit www.tewksburypantry.org
