Tewksbury Public Library


All events are FREE thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library.  (Film screenings are also co-sponsored by the Tewksbury Lions Club.)  All events are held in the library’s first-floor, air-conditioned Meeting Room.  A book selling and signing will take place after each author event.  There is no obligation to purchase a book.

An Evening with Kevin Farrell, Author of “Trolleys of the Merrimack Valley”
Thursday, June 25, 7pm-8:30pm
Learn about the history of trolleys in the Merrimack Valley, including the lines that traveled through Tewksbury.

Friday Night Film Screening of “Focus”
Friday, June 26, 8:30pm-10:30pm
Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood’s latest DVD releases, “Focus,” an R-rated crime drama starring Will Smith.  In the midst of veteran con man Nicky’s latest scheme, a woman from his past – now an accomplished femme fatale – shows up and throws his plans for a loop.  Complimentary movie snacks provided.

Tewksbury Job Seekers Network Meeting

Learn how to improve your networking with Steve Hartel in his presentation, “A Fresh Approach To Networking.” Hartel will talk about networking in a different way than most job seekers are used to hearing, and will present some proven methods in a hands-on how-to format that people can follow to improve their networking results.
