Report: Tewksbury Teen Injured In Motorcycle Crash Now In Stable Condition

A Tewksbury teen, severely injured in a motorcycle crash over the weekend is listed in stable condition at a Boston Hospital.

According to a report published in the Lowell Sun, the teen is being treated at Massachusetts General Hospital.

The 19-year-old, whose name has not yet been released, was hurt Saturday night, when he slammed his motorcycle into a utility pole on South Street near Mollie Drive. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The victim was transported by ambulance to the parking lot behind Jon Ryan's Pub, where a Med-Flight chopper picked him up and transported him to Mass. General.  The teen sustained serious injuries in the crash. However, they were not life-threatening, as had been originally reported.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
