Motel Surveillance Leads To Drug Arrests

Robin Benton and Joshua Campbell were arrested on drug charges at the Motel 6.

Two people are facing drug charges after being arrested for illegally dealing the prescription painkiller Percocet from a room at the Motel 6.

Robin Benton, 34, who lists her address as Room 146 at Motel 6, 95 Main St. and Joshua Campbell, 18, of 17 Lakeview Ave., Billerica, were arrested in the raid on Wednesday.

According to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan, the arrests came as the result of surveillance conducted by Tewksbury Detectives.

Benton was charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance (twenty individual 10 mg Percocet pills) and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (thirty-three individual 10 mg Percocet pills).  

Campbell was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (twenty individual 10 mg Percocet pills).

The suspects were arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday,
