Police Seeking Suspect Who Robbed Tewksbury Holiday Inn

Tewksbury Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of the Holiday Inn on at 4 Highwood Drive, off Andover Street (Route 133).

According to a police report, the incident took place Saturday evening. The call came in at 5:27 p.m., reporting the armed robbery.

According to witnesses, the suspect is either hispanic or a light-skinned black male, standing just under six feet tall. He wore black and gold sneakers, a tee-shirt and camouflage cargo shorts.

According to the report, the suspect entered the hotel, threatened the clerk with a box cutter and demanded money. After being handed an unknown amount of money, he fled the scene.

Several police officers responded to the call and the NEMLEC canine unit was immediately requested to aid in the search. Three canine took part in the search but were unable to track down the suspect.
