Tewksbury Police are asking for the help of the public in identifying a man who robbed a local liquor store earlier this month and fled the scene in a silver sedan.
On Aug. 4, at approximately 9:18 P.M. Dispatch received a report of an armed robbery at 391 Main St., Main Street Liquors.
A clerk told officers on scene that a male party entered the store wearing a black ski mask, stated that he had a gun and ordered the clerk to empty the cash register. The clerk reported that he observed that the suspect was holding a large steak knife and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as being a light skinned male in his twenties, approximately six feet tall, with hazel eyes, wearing a red pull over sweatshirt with no hood, black sweat pants with white stripes down the sides and what appear to be blue gloves with white writing on the top.

The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a silver or light colored sedan, possibly a Honda, Lexus Mitsubishi or similar.
