Question Of The Week: Should World Religions Be Taught In Public Schools?

Aug 25, 2015 05:19PM ● Published by Bill Gilman

For this week's Question of the Week we take on a question that touches on the Constitution, world diplomacy, terrorism and public education.
Should world religions be taught in the public schools?
There are many issues at play here. Would learning about the religions of the world help students understand global issues better? Would it be crossing the line on the separation of church and state?
What do you think? Should world religions be taught in public schools of Massachusetts?
