As part of her Project 351 service project, Rosalyn Impink organized a card making event at the Tewksbury Public Library this week. The cards will accompany care packages for active duty service personnel as part of a joint effort with Massachusetts Military Heroes, a Boston-based support organization for military families. People from Tewksbury and Lowell came to the event and made over 100 cards to inspire and reinforce support for the soldiers’ service. Donations for the Project 351 care packages may be placed in the collection box at the Tewksbury Public Library until September 1. Specific donations of chewing gum and playing cards are requested. Thank you to everyone who attended and made cards. For more information, please visit www.project351.org
